Mendham High School - Mendham NJ, 2009: Nancy Ellis, the culinary arts teacher, commissioned this garden in 2009. We installed it over Spring break and hauled 6 yards of compost and soil into those raised beds. The vegetables and herbs are growing like mad this year. We installed the drip irrigation which has saved them in this heat.
Axel's Backyard Farm - Mendham NJ, 2010: We turned the lawn into a small farm. Designed beautiful woodchip paths that look like the tree of life. The woodchuck lives behind the garage, but can't get in because we buried the hardware mesh fencing a foot deep and flanged it out to keep him from burrowing under.

Amy's Backyard Gardens - East Brunswick NJ, 2010: Two large growing areas. One framed in cedar, one framed with stone. An abundance of tomatoes, other vegetables, herbs, and berries!

Gale's Raw Cedar Deer Fence - Bernardsville NJ, 2010: Trying to keep out the deer here was challenging, but we did it! We used 12 ft cedar logs and wrapped it with 8 feet of vinyl coated galvanized wire fencing material. Used a chain saw to cut the logs down to 8 ft after the fence was up. Love the gates!

Betsy's Terraced Planter - Morristown NJ, 2010: We installed our custom terraced planters at Betsy's homes in Morristown and Newton. The lettuces and greens are doing really well.

Angela's Trellis - Montclair NJ, 2010: A beautiful bamboo trellis was installed in the Spring and now beautiful vines with gourds climb all the way up!

Ellen's Garden - Summit NJ, 2010: Front yard vegetables! A beautiful estate in Summit now has food growing right out the front door. Ellen is my hero! She also loves her shiitake mushrooms logs that we placed in the shade under her trees. She'll be harvesting shiitake mushrooms soon.
